A compounded hormone preparation can be made specifically for you based on your history, symptoms, and test results. Working together with you and your medical provider, the pharmacist becomes part of the team to find the best formula to help you find balance. During this appointment, the pharmacist will review your test results, information and answer any questions you have about your symptoms and hormone replacement therapy.

After your appointment, the pharmacist can then share their recommendations with your provider for the compounded hormone formula that will best fit your needs. If your provider is unaware that you are seeking this type of therapy, we may ask that you contact them before the pharmacists does, so that the process can go as smoothly as possible. If you need a new provider, we can help connect you with one.

receiving your compounded prescription

Once we receive a prescription from your provider, we will review the prescription, your directions and what to expect.

Due to Impact Compounding customizing your prescription specifically for you, payment is required prior to making your prescription. A staff member will contact you to review the cost of your medication and/or any supplements discussed with the pharmacist. *We do not bill insurance but will be happy to provide a universal claim form upon request.

If you would like to have a staff member review your medication with you in person once it is made, an appointment time can be scheduled.

follow up

After starting your therapy, we encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns. We will be following up with you at different intervals of your therapy to be sure you are seeing results and doing well. Because this is a custom-made medication, adjustments can be made along the way depending on your specific symptoms and or lab results. The pharmacist will be happy to advise your provider on your symptoms, progress and recommend changes if needed.
